This course is designed for people who handle and load dangerous goods, and prepare dangerous goods declarations for land transport, as part of their job. The purpose of this course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to safely handle, load and store dangerous goods and to give you an understanding of the different classes of dangerous goods and their hazards, along with your health and safety obligations when handling dangerous goods at your workplace.

This short course is an overview designed to provide you with the tools and knowledge to perform your daily tasks in relation to moving and handling dangerous goods by sea. In addition, it is Best Practice to also access and understand your organisations specific procedures for storing and handling Dangerous Goods. This can be covered in more detail with on-site training
