
This half-day course is tailored toward workplaces seeking practical, hands-on familiarity with defibrillator use. It is suitable for staff at all experience levels and focuses on building confidence in responding to sudden cardiac arrest within the workplace environment.

Where possible, training is delivered using the client’s own workplace defibrillator to ensure familiarity with onsite equipment. Alternative models commonly used in New Zealand are also discussed. This is an educational awareness course designed to strengthen workplace emergency preparedness. While no formal qualification is issued, The Training Team provides a Certificate of Attendance. To complete the course, participants must demonstrate practical understanding to the trainer. There is no formal written assessment, competency is assessed during the session.
Group sizes have no minimum attendance and are capped at 30 attendees, for larger groups, arrangements can be made to accommodate your company’s needs upon request.
