Course overview

A self-paced online awareness course on dangerous goods safety. Learners cover the DG classes, the hazards dangerous goods pose, the responsibilities of people working around them and what to do in an emergency. Start any time and complete it at your own pace.

It is ideal for staff inductions, new starters and longstanding staff who want to refresh their knowledge.

  • $130 NZ + GST per person
  • 60-90 minutes, self-paced and online, available anytime
  • Successful learners receive a DG Awareness Certificate, valid for 3 years

A lighter alternative to DG Warehouse & Handling, not as comprehensive. This course covers DG safety at an awareness level. It does not train people to handle, store or pack dangerous goods, or to prepare dangerous goods paperwork and declarations. Staff who do those tasks need our full-day, face-to-face Dangerous Goods Warehouse & Handling course.

Training a team? Our Dangerous Goods Warehouse & Handling course runs in class or onsite for staff who handle dangerous goods. Many businesses pair it with this online awareness course for everyone else on site.
